Pacific Silvercloth® Fabric By-the-Yard ( 46" wide)
AS THE EMBEDED SILVER PARTICLES IN PACIFIC SILVERCLOTH ARE ESSENTIAL TO PROVIDE TARNISH PREVENTION, AND DUE TO NUMEROUS COST INCREASES OVER THE LAST COUPLE OF YEARS FOR SILVER (AS A RESULT OF MORE AND MORE DEMAND FOR SILVER FROM VARIOUS INDUSTRIES), WE HAVE HAD TO GREATLY INCREASE OUR PRICE FOR THE FABRIC TO OUR CUSTOMERS DUE TO A RECENT MUCH LARGER PRICE INCREASE FOR US. LAST YEAR THERE WAS AN INCREASE AND WE ONLY RAISED OUR PRICE TO CUSTOMERS BY THE DOLLAR AMOUNT OF OUR INCREASED COST WITH NO ADDITIONAL PROFIT. UNFORTUNATELY, THIS INCREASE COUPLED WITH THE LAST INCREASE, DOES REQUIRE US TO MAKE A BIGGER JUMP IN PRICING IF WE WANT TO CONTINUE PROVIDING THIS MUCH RESPECTED AND VALUED FABRIC BY-THE-YARD AS WELL AS OUR SEWN PRODUCTS.
FYI: SilverGuard adds 1" to each cut length, e.g. (1) yard length will be 37" vs. 36", (2) yard length will be 73" vs. 72", (3) yard length will be 109" vs. 108", etc.
TIP: You will have less waste and get more use of your fabric if you order one long piece rather than shorter individual pieces, e.g., one 3-yard piece vs. three 1-yard pieces.

Does Pacific Silvercloth have a 'right' or 'wrong' side?
Pacific Silvercloth does not have a right or wrong side, so it's really just a matter of personal preference as to which side you put against the silver. When possible, we prefer to put the least napped side on the outside, mainly because the least napped side will attract or hold less lint, dust, etc. However, when lining a drawer or cabinet, we recommend adhering the least napped side against the wood for better adhesion.
Pacific Silvercloth® fabric is made in the USA.
